Trying to explore the city, find good eats, and get everything settled for school and such. Weirdly, I have seen more fellow S2000's here than anywhere else. Plenty of great cars and bikes around, and I am super happy. But, I need to find the good roads soon, so I am not just using my car for city driving.

Lime Creek Road is the classic Austin driving road, but I'd be careful as it can be full of idiots who don't know their limits.

Hennessy is pretty far from Austin actually, closer to Houston. If you want to drive fast near Austin legally your best options are Harris Hill Road or Brianne Corn Raceway

1431 between Jonestown and Marble Falls, unless you get stuck behind somebody. Watch for the cops in Jonestown though. And don't drink the Kool-Aid.

Seconding the drive out to Enchanted Rock. The drive to Fredricksburg is suuuuper boring, but once you take the right turn, it's a great place to have a fun convertible. The park is pretty swell, too.

While it's not the best BBQ in the area, taking a drive out to the Salt Lick for lunch, then heading out toward Enchanted Rock is a day well spent. Once I get the GTV6 running I'll join you. We really need an Austin Opponauts meet-up. Maybe around the WEC weekend at COTA?
